It's free and a fun place to spend the day chilling out in the water. Official Schoolies activities in Airlie Beach run from 20th – 24th November 2010 – In 2009 there were parties every night including – foam party, beach party & Halloween party tickets were about $10 each, but may change for 2010.
During Schoolies, a Chill Out Zone will be set up near the Lagoon to provide a place where Schoolies can feel safe and get assistance.
All Schoolies events are drug and alcohol free
A Schoolies bus will provide free transport
Lights at the Lagoon remain on until dawn each night of Schoolies and two lifeguards are on duty throughout the night
In 2009, the Red Frog Crew provided live DJ and other entertainment every night from the Red Frog Stage at ‘Schoolies Central
